I've also been going back to some old projects and finished off a new Batvent animation featuring Ra's Al Ghul, a villain seen in both the Batman Begins film and the Arkham City video game, here he uses his convenient Lazarus Pit for a revitalising bath after an unfortunate lightning strike.

Today as I was going through some old work I found a birthday animation which I always enjoyed and by adding an extra transition between the kayak & windsurfer I managed to turn it into a looping gif.

A selection of lips that I've been using for a recent project, as I hadn't been collecting them together initially I ended up with a few almost-duplicates, but thought it was a fun image and reminded me of the drawers of mouth shapes you see Aardman using for their films & tv shows. 

And, since you've been patient with me, here's a preview of two more Batvent characters,

Ra's Al Ghul and Scarface the ventriloquist dummy.

Canada's Technology Triangle

I animated this information film about Canada's Technology Triangle and the Waterloo Region last year, all of it was hand drawn by me in Flash except for the factoid circles which were added after in After Effects.

Wild Lomography

This was projected all night at the Lomography Toronto Store

on January 26th as part of their launch party for the new range of cameras.

Batvent - Day 15

Here's a gift for you all since you've been so patient while I sauntered off and went skiing.

I also moved to Toronto at the start of the month and have started to finish off the remaining days of Batvent, I've got a few ideas for what to do with them all once I'm finished, maybe this year I'll come up with an advent idea before December!
